Sea Life Hears More Than You
EXHIBITION: The ocean is no longer a world of natural sounds. It is now filled with human-made noise from shipping, sonar, and other activities. This sound pollution is a crisis for cetaceans—whales, dolphins, and porpoises—who rely on sound for everything from navigation to communication.
This constant noise disrupts their vital sense, causing them to become disoriented and, in many tragic cases, leading to mass strandings on beaches.
